Our work

IDF has undertaken a number of local economic development (LED) projects including empowering local councils in LED  approaches and coordinating larger LED projects on behalf of organizations such as the Groupe de Recherche et d’Echanges Technologiques (GRET)

Local Economic Development

The International Labor Organization defines LED as meaning more than just economic growth.

Women Empowerment

Many women in Cameroon, most of whom live in the rural areas, do not have the right to personal political and social opinions

Community Health

The Cameroon Government has taken many HIV and AIDS strategies since 1983 after the first case was identified in 1981

Child Rights

The law generally protects children from exploitation in the workplace and specifies penalties ranging from fines to imprisonment for infringement

Our Impact

We’ve worked on improving the lives of over 25,000 people through direct practice.

Young people from different backgrounds have a huge impact on us and all our activities. They highlight those parts of the society that are broken, so we can help them in all possible ways to regain hope and flourish in life.

Our numbers that speak

We have numbers that push us to give in our best and make sure that we break our own records. We are happy to be growing and helping more day by day.
